Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 12 oz water
  • 4 sauteed mushrooms chopped
  • 1/2 can bamboo shoots
  • 2 T sherry
  • 2 T rice vinegar
  • 2 T soy
  • 2 t hot sauce
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 2 t thickener
  • 8 oz turkey mince

Directions

  1. Chop everything in thin strips.
  2. Saute mince.
  3. Bring stock to boil with water and add carrots and bamboo shoots. 
  4. Add turkey mince in small pieces then mushrooms. 
  5. Boil for 1 minute, add seasonings and then bring back to the boil and thicken.

Notes

Better without the turkey mince.
