Ingredients
- 4 small chicken breasts
Cooking sauce:
- 1/4 c apricot preserves
- 1/2 T dijon
- 1 t worcestershire
- 1 T minced habaneros chilis
- 1 t apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 garlic
Thickener
- 1/2 T cornstarch
- 1/2 T water
Directions
- Put chicken in bottom of slow cooker
- Whisk cooking sauce ingredients together and pour over ensuring chicken coated
- Cook on low for 5 hours
- Remove chicken and shred
- Combine corn starch and water and use to thicken sauce in slow cooker
- Add chicken and toss to coat
- Serve with Habanero Cabbage Slaw
Notes
- Originally a sandwich but try without putting in a bun
- 4 servings because 2 would be too small for slow cooker
