Peaches in Sauternes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c Sauternes
  • 1 t orange flavoured liqueur
  • 1 T sugar
  • 2 peaches - ripe

Directions

  1. Immerse peaches in boiling water for 1 - 2 mins. until skins come off easily. Place in cold water to prevent cooking.
  2. Peel peaches and cut in wedges. Add sugar, Sauternes and liqueur.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, overnight okay.
  4. Serve cool but not cold.
