Pork with Mustard and Onions
Ingredients
- 2 thick pork chops
- 1/8 t salt
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1/8 t dill
- 1/8 t mustard powder
- 1/2 T oil
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- 1/2 T prepared mustard
- 1/2 c beef stock (beer)
- 1/2 T wine vinegar
- 1/6 c sour cream
Directions
- Season chops with salt, pepper, dill and mustard powder.
- Brown in oil 2 - 3 mins on each side. Remove.
- Fry onions on med-low for 10 mins.
- Arrange chops on top of onions, add beer and vinegar and cover. Simmer 30 mins. Remove to plate.
- Add mustard to pan and reduce sauce until syrupy. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Pour over chops.
