Pesto - oil free 2

Ingredients

  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 3 garlic
  • 2 T pine nuts (lightly toasted)
  • 1 c lightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 4 to 6 T stock
  • 1/2 t salt

Directions

  1. With food processor running, drop in garlic and allow them to chop.
  2. Add pine nuts and pulse to chop.
  3. Add lemon juice, basil and salt and 4 T of stock.
  4. Add up to 2 more T of stock, depending on consistency.
  5. Puree until smooth.
