Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak in half inch cubes (try 12 oz)
  • 2 dessertspoon oil
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped (3.45 - 0.7)
  • 1/2 t cumin (0.45 - 0.1)
  • 1/2 t ground coriander (0.5 - 0.25)
  • 2 garlic cloves minced (2 - 0.2)
  • 1 t ginger (1.3 - 0.2)
  • 2 t turmeric (2.8 - 1)
  • 1 t chili powder (1.4 - 0.9)
  • 4 T sour cream (4)
  • 5 fl oz water
  • 1/2 t onion salt

Directions

  1. Fry onion in oil, turn up to high, add beef and brown.
  2. Add all spices and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add sour cream and water.
  4. Put lid on and cook on low for 1 3/4 hours.
  5. Remove lid and reduce sauce.
