Shrimp Sauteed with Bacon and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb shrimp
  • 2 oz bacon diced
Seasoning:
  • 3/4 t thyme
  • 3/4 t rosemary
  • 1 garlic sliced thin
  • 1 T oil
Sauce:
  • 1/2 c stock
  • 2 t lemon juice
  • 2 T butter

Directions

  1. Marinate shrimp in seasoning at room temp. 30 mins.
  2. Fry bacon, remove all but 1 T bacon fat.
  3. Add shrimp and saute until cooked.
  4. Remove shrimp and bacon. Add lemon juice and stock to pan. Reduce by 1/2. Swirl in butter, melt and pour over shrimp and bacon.
