Steak Sandwich
Ingredients
- Steak for sandwiches - NY strip
- salt and pepper
- oil
- 1/2 onion sliced in rings
- 1/2 t thyme
- Bread
- 1/4 c mayo
- 1 t dijon mustard
- 1 t mustard
- 2 t sour cream
- pinch salt
Directions
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil and seer steak on each side 1 min.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 12 mins, turning once. Remove to plate, cover with foil tightly and let sit for 10 mins. Slice into strips.
- Heat oil and saute onions with thyme.
- Mix mayo, mustards, sour cream and salt and use to coat bread. Add steak and onions.
