Chinese Barbecued Pork
Ingredients
- 2 pork chops boneless
- 2 t Splenda (1)
- 2 t soy sauce (0.67) (assumes 1g per T)
- 1 t hoisin sauce (4)
- 1 t rice vinegar or rice cooking wine
- 1 t ground bean sauce
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 pinch ground pepper
Directions
- Combine soy, sugar, hoisin, vinegar, bean sauce, sesame oil and pepper. Pour over pork and put in refrigerator overnight.
- Let pork come to room temperature for at least 30 mins.
- Preheat broiler. Place rack in roasting pan filled with at least 1/4 inch water.
- Broil 4 inches from element for 10 minutes each side. Baste with marinade when turning over.
- Chop into small pieces.
