Sophisto Joe’s Mince

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb 93 % lean mince
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 4 t garlic powder
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 1 t cumin
  • 1/2 c red wine
  • 2 T worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T splenda
  • 1 14 oz can tomatoes drained and pureed

Directions

  1. Brown mince.
  2. Brown onions and carrot with 1/2 t salt.
  3. Add garlic, chili, cumin 1/2 t salt and 3/4 t pepper.
  4. Add red wine, tomatoes, worcestershire and splenda. Boil until sauce thickens - about 6 mins.
