Pan Roasted Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb carrots in half lengthwise
  • 1 T oil
  • 3/4 t butter
  • 1 T water
  • 1/2 T hoisin
  • 3/4 t maple syrup
  • 1/8 t salt

Directions

  1. Heat heavy saute pan. Add oil and butter.
  2. Add carrots in single layer and cook 5 mins without stirring over medium high.
  3. Stir and arrange in single layer and cook 5 mins more.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients and add to pan and cook 1 minute to glaze.
